Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun of Delhi, comissioned by Humayun’s son Akbar.
There is actually a number of tombs laid out in different buildings/palaces which are symmetrically laid out. I would recommend this site if you are visiting Delhi – it’s really impressive.
Following my visit, I then drove by the Gate of Infia and went to Connaugh Place which is quite close by and has a famous temple, street shopping and a business district.
I only went to the shopping area as I didn’t have too much time – there are street stalls, people selling on the side of the road and shops. All pricing is negotiable which is quite fun and the shops mainly focus on fabrics and handicrafts. I found I was less hassled here then other shipping districts, which made shopping a bit more easy breezy in the 46 degree heat.

Nice pictures 🙂 You have got one point about Humayun’s Tomb wrong. The tomb was commissioned by Akbar who was Humayun’s son not his brother.
